Akriti
Goel.
Writer + Educator
I write at the intersection of literature and lived experience — exploring puberty, self-love, and the quietly radical act of telling your own story.
I’m Akriti Goel.
I’m a writer, educator, and mental health advocate who believes that words, when held with care, can become sites of healing. I explore themes of puberty, self-love, connection, and resilience through storytelling and creative programs.
Akriti
I am a writer and educator who runs a self-expression community for children, called Sunday Loaf, and this summer we are taking our community online. I have studied Journalism at The University of Technology, Sydney, and Early Childhood Education and Care at the Asian College of Teachers.
I am currently pursuing a Postgraduate degree in Child, Adolescent and Family Well-being (UK) A script and screenwriter (Hostages, Toussaint Louverture, Chota Bheem, Shiva, Lil Singham, Twinkle Sharma 0007). My work has appeared on OTTs such as Hotstar, Nickelodeon, Zee, Amazon and more. I have worked in publishing and radio in Australia (Indian Link), in advertising, television, feature films, documentary films, and education in India.

Kind Words
Stories and reflections from the students, educators, and communities I’ve had the joy of working with.
Akriti's in-school workshop was a revelation for our students. She created a safe, joyful space where teenagers could explore their emotions through poetry — something we struggle to achieve in traditional classrooms.

School Principal · DPS International, Delhi
The Dream Loaf zine gave my daughter a voice she didn't know she had. Watching her contribute her writing and see it in print was one of the most meaningful moments of her adolescence.
Priya Sharma
Parent & Workshop Attendee · Mumbai
We've collaborated with many educators, but Akriti brings something rare — a genuine understanding of how storytelling intersects with mental health. Her Postcard Poetry Party was transformative for our community.
Rohan Mehta
NGO Program Director · Youth Voices India
I came to one of her workshops during a really difficult time, and I left feeling seen. The way she holds space for vulnerability while keeping things playful and light is a true gift.
Ananya Krishnan
College Student · Miranda House, Delhi
Akriti's puberty literacy sessions are the most thoughtful I've seen. She addresses sensitive topics with warmth, humor, and zero judgment — exactly what young people need.
